ClusterTech took part in the highly anticipated LogTech Expo 2025 on 19 September 2025 in Hong Kong, organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) with support from the Transport and Logistics Bureau’s Logistics Promotion Funding Scheme (LPFS). As a leading provider of high-performance computing (HPC), ClusterTech demonstrated how our cutting-edge meteorological and sustainability solutions are shaping the future of intelligent and green logistics operations.
This year’s expo emphasised key development areas such as New Productive Forces, Low Altitude Economy, and ESG-driven sustainability. Industry leaders, technology experts, and government representatives gathered to explore innovative applications of these themes across the logistics and supply chain sectors.
With two decades of specialised experience in air quality and meteorological modeling, ClusterTech drew significant attention with three flagship offerings in atmospheric and environmental management: the ClusterTech Platform for Atmospheric Simulation (CPAS), the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) PATH v2.1 Solutions, and the ClusterTech Online Platform for Emission Reduction (OPER).
At our booth, Dr. Wai Pang SZE, Senior Computational Scientist at ClusterTech, presented CPAS — a proprietary variable-resolution weather prediction model designed for high-resolution urban micro-weather forecasting with optimised computational efficiency. He detailed how core innovations like Customisable Unstructured Mesh Generation (CUMG) and Hierarchical Time-Stepping (HTS) within the MPAS-A model enhance simulation accuracy while reducing computing power consumption. These capabilities allow CPAS to deliver precise weather intelligence for energy generation, low-altitude drone operations, aviation safety, and logistics route optimisation.

Dr. Wai Pang SZE also introduced the EIA PATH v2.1 platform, which helps organisations conduct accurate environmental impact assessments crucial for sustainable project planning and regulatory compliance in both Hong Kong and mainland China. Additionally, he demonstrated OPER, an online platform designed to help companies monitor, manage, and reduce carbon emissions—supporting corporate ESG targets and advancing progress towards carbon neutrality.
The ClusterTech booth facilitated productive exchanges with logistics operators, technology partners, and sustainability specialists, focusing on practical applications of high-resolution environmental data to support more informed and sustainable decision-making in logistics and supply chain operations.
The booth attracted a lot of attention
ClusterTech will remain committed to supporting the logistics sector through integrated HPC and weather intelligence. As global supply chains grow more complex and climate-responsive, our solutions will continue to offer critical tools for building resilient, efficient, and sustainable operations. ClusterTech looks forward to further collaborating with industry partners to promote meaningful technological innovation.
