ClusterTech was honoured to be invited to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's (PolyU) lecture to deliver an enlightening speech on its groundbreaking Atmospheric Model - CPAS (ClusterTech Platform for Atmospheric Simulation). The sharing showcased ClusterTech's expertise in atmospheric modelling and highlighted its commitment to driving innovation in the field.
During the lecture, ClusterTech's distinguished representative, Mr. Chris Cheung, Senior Director of Technology, captivated the audience with his profound knowledge and visionary insights about CPAS. Mr. Cheung explained the model's advanced capabilities in accurately simulating atmospheric conditions, enabling precise weather forecasting, climate analysis, and environmental impact assessment.
PolyU students eagerly engaged with ClusterTech's team during the interactive session, seizing the opportunity to discuss the model's applications and its potential to revolutionise atmospheric science. The lecture not only showcased ClusterTech's technical prowess but also highlighted its dedication to fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within the academic community.
The meteorological team of ClusterTech Limited is committed to providing air quality forecast and meteorological model running services to clients. For more than 15 years, we have served the Hong Kong Observatory, the Environment Protection Department of HKSAR, and organisations in mainland China. CPAS, developed by ClusterTech's professional meteorological team, implements unique Customisable Unstructured Mesh Generation (CUMG) and Hierarchical Time-Stepping (HTS) on Model for Prediction Across Scales - Atmosphere (MPAS-A) to better serve the computational needs of numerical atmospheric model users.
