ClusterTech exhibited at LogTech Expo 2026 on 29 October 2026. The event was organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council with funding from the Transport and Logistics Bureau’s Logistics Promotion Funding Scheme. It brought together industry professionals, technology providers, and government representatives to explore AI-driven logistics, ESG and sustainability, the low-altitude economy, and smart supply chain management.

LogTech Expo 2025

At the expo, ClusterTech unveiled a new interactive aviation demo for Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) athttps://demo.cpas.earth/. Powered by the ClusterTech Platform for Atmospheric Simulation (CPAS), the demo showcased day-ahead prediction of low-level wind shear at HKIA with 200m resolution, together with regional HKIA 200m live forecasting, global adaptive mesh refinement for Hong Kong live forecasting, regional and global reforecast episodes, and renewable energy and smart city scenarios.

By combining an unstructured mesh, adaptive mesh refinement, and a global-to-local architecture, CPAS addressed the grey-zone forecasting bottleneck and turned weather data into actionable intelligence for aviation safety, renewable energy forecasting, logistics planning, and other applications.

LogTech Expo 2025

Mr Chris Cheung, Senior Director of Technology, elaborated on CPAS and the live demos to visitors, attracting many visitors from different industries, who explored how ClusterTech can support smarter, more sustainable logistics.

With more than 25 years of HPC expertise and more than 20 years in meteorological and air quality modelling, ClusterTech delivers actionable forecasting and assessment solutions. We also offer EIA PATH v2.1, an air quality and environmental impact assessment tool requested by HKSAR for ESG and sustainable planning, and the ClusterTech Online Platform for Emission Reduction (OPER), an online simulation platform designed to inform short-term and long-term regional air quality management strategies. OPER has been applied to several projects in Hong Kong and mainland China. ClusterTech will remain committed to supporting the logistics sector through integrated HPC and weather intelligence.
