The coming video of the course will go over essential glimpses of mathematical theories you need to know for the practices of running NWP. This is important, because CPAS is based on MPAS. The slides in the tutorial are comprehensive. You are expected to read to full understanding, or as far as you can make your best effort. CPAS uses a different mesh generation from the Lloyd’s method introduced in the tutorial.
