Mr. Cheung obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He got in touch with Atmospheric Science when assisting a colleague to model air quality in China in 2014. Annoyed by the restriction in configuring WRF domains to cover a mountain range oriented neither zonal nor meridional, he tried MPAS-A. Impressive! That started the story of working with colleagues to extend and make further usage of it.
He is also a father of two kids, busy taking care of his family if not working.
